Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing a team of accountants and a portfolio of clients including reviewing the day to day book keeping and activities would include First level review of :

  • Day to day transactions related to accounts payable, account receivable and employee reimbursement
  • Daily banking transactions & periodic bank reconciliations
  • Intercompany transactions & reconciliation
  • Inventory accounting
  • Fixed assets register & related accounting
  • Monthly accruals and provisions
  • Periodic closure of books of accounts
  • Maintenance of proper filing of documents
  • Statutory tax payments- TDS returns and GST returns
  • Audit and Assurance - Refer Audit and Assuance JD

Further responsibilities would also include

  • Preparing of predefined and need based Management reports
  • Preparation of IGAAP/IFRS/IND-AS compliant financial statements and interaction with auditors
     

Desired Profile :

  • 5-8 years post qualification experience in F&A Function
  • Qualified CA/ICWA/CA Inter/MCOM/MBA
  • Proficiency in working with Tally/SAP/Navision/ or any other accounting ERP tool will be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS office (Excel/Word and PPT)
  • Good knowledge of accounting and financial reporting and related rules and regulations (Income-tax Act, Companies Laws, GST  etc.)
