Resource Manager Responsibilities:

• Assigning available staff to projects based on their skills and experience.
• Providing project managers with ongoing resource management and related support.
• Monitoring employee utilization, not booked hours
• Mitigating resource concerns by reallocating resources, adjusting goals, or assigning additional staff.

• · Responsible for managing the resource pool of billable resources, their skills and competency levels and their training plans
  • · Managing the work requests that come into the team, planning and allocating project resources based on skills, product experience and availability
  • · Manage the supply and demand views for the current and next 90 days
  • · Provide resource pool, supply and demand reporting to identify shortfalls or excesses of resource and skills
  • · Providing project managers with ongoing resource management and related support.
  • · Monitoring employee utilization, workload, and overtime hours.
  • · Mitigating resource concerns by reallocating resources, adjusting goals, or assigning additional staff.
  • · Collaborating on resource management with internal departments.
  • · Documenting processes and maintaining records.
