Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Project manage consulting engagements ranging from growth strategy/ market assessment/ commercial due diligence/ EBITDA improvement / Transformation other specialist advisory engagements
  • Independently manage the end-to-end life cycle of consulting engagements – team onboarding, day to day project execution, team guidance, project delivery and project closure activities
  • Play an active role in running key client interactions for data collation, interpreting data analysis and presenting key findings
  • Review all the analysis, presentations, interpretations of the project team and ensure they are client ready in all aspects
  • Maintain all relevant project documents / data as required by GT’ internal standards
  • Make recommendations to client based on the various findings during the engagement.  
  • Actively participate in sector and practice thought papers / IP generation which helps the practice as well as the overall GT brand in India.
  • Play a key linking role between the day-to-day project team with GT Engagement Partner and client sponsors / client project manager / steering committees as needed
  • Guide, mentor and develop team members in appropriate functional areas to develop the talent of the consulting practice
  • Review project KPIs and metrics on timely manner and suggest suitable corrective actions as required in discussions with engagement partner
  • Lead actively Business Development Activities (Proposal Writing, POV creation, Industry Trends)

Expected profile:

  • CA / CMA / BE / B Tech / Other Degree plus MBA
  • 7 - 11 years of experience.
  • Prior experience in a professional consultancy firm is preferred
  • Executed some of following types of engagements in the past:
    • Growth Strategy Engagements
    • Market Assessments & Commercial Due Diligence

-        Revenue Growth Engagements

-        Business Plan development skills

  • Operational & Business Transformation Engagements

-        Supply Chain Optimization/ Working Capital Management/ Cost Optimization

  • Played a strategy role in the industry of focus
