Job Description

We are looking for a 3+ years experienced UI Developer responsible for the client side of our service. Your primary focus will be to implement a complete user interface in the form of a desktop web app, with a focus on performance. Your main duties will include creating modules and components and coupling them together into a functional app. A thorough understanding of all the components of our platform and infrastructure is required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency with JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, RESTful APIs
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Deep knowledge of frameworks like React
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback.
• Experience with building the infrastructure for serving the front-end app and assets.
• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API and other web services used in the system
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
