Job Summary

The Valuation & Business Analytics Senior Associate is responsible for utilizing previously obtained educational background, along with established organizational and project management skills to successfully service clients of BDO Valuation & Business Analytics.  This role works within a team environment to actively assist in the analysis and resolution of client matters while taking direction and receiving guidance from experienced staff and management members.  The Senior Associate is involved in all stages of client management, including identification of potential valuation issues, construction of valuation modeling and completion of industry and client research, along with conduction of on-site inspections.

Job Duties

• Constructs valuation modeling and market research on various equipment types and completes company, as well as industry and economic research
• Conducts on-site inspections to asses and confirm asset conditions
• Documents and ensures quality control of work product for assigned engagements
• Assist in creating narrative reports and review memos to support valuation analyses 
• Develops exhibits and memos to illustrate complex issue
• Assists with project preparation and delivery
• Archives work files in accordance with BDO Best Practices
• Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree, required
  • Focus in Finance or Engineering, preferred

Experience:

• Two (2) or more years similar experience, required
• Machinery and equipment valuation experience, preferred

License/Certifications:

• AM / ASA or certification, preferred

Software:

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, required

Language:

• N/A

Travel:

• Intermediate travel as required
