Job Duties

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Records and codes Bank and Credit Card transactions.
  • Processes Expense reimbursements.
  • Processes, records, and reconciles payroll.
  • Records depreciation/amortization expense.
  • Reconciles Bank, Credit Card, and other Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Supports period close activities and completes assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Assists with financial statement preparation and other reporting deliverables.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

Education:

 

  • Post-graduation in commerce/ MBA Finance
  • Professional certifications (CA, ACCA, CMA etc.) a plus

 

Experience:

 

  • One (1) to Three (3) years of experience performing general accounting transactions and functions required in the US environment
  • Experience working in an outsourced operations environment required. End to end accounting, month end accputing process filing year ends forms
  • US Tax Exp is plus

 

Software:

 

  • Demonstrated experience performing accounting functions in applications such as QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage Intacct, Bill.Com
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).

 

Language:

 

  • Good English oral and written communication skills required.

 

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

  • High level of attention to detail required.
  • Strong analytical and basic research skills
  • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to self-manage work assignments and prioritize work activities.
  • Ability to work overtime especially during month end.
