Job Summary

The Cloud Administrator is responsible for administering, provisioning, securing, monitoring, and maintaining all Microsoft Azure and AWS based IaaS resources such as: Networks, Firewalls, Servers, Storage, Microsoft Active Directory, and their related subsystems.

Job Duties

• Uses knowledge and expertise to administer, provision, secure, monitor, and maintain all IaaS based infrastructure resources
• Other duties as required

• Create and maintain IaaS standards and documentation
• Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve performance related issues
• Investigate with Cloud providers and partners to resolve IaaS related issues
• Collaborate with all IT teams to architect and implement desired Cloud solutions
• Monitor, manage, and maintain data protection for all IaaS production systems
• Monitor, manage, and maintain BC/DR functionality for all IaaS production systems
• Monitor, manage, and maintain Cloud AD connectivity to on premise AD

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant field of study preferred

Experience

• Two (2) or more years of experience administering multiple (50+) IT systems required
• One (1) or more years of experience working with Microsoft Azure required
• One (1) or more years of experience working with AWS preferred

License(s)/Certification(s)

• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals preferred
• Microsoft Azure Administrator preferred  

Software

• Prior experience administering Microsoft Windows servers required
• Prior experience administering Microsoft Active Directory objects required
• Microsoft Azure Portal required
• Microsoft PowerShell required
• JSON scripting preferred
• VMWare ESX/6xi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V preferred

• Microsoft Visual Studio preferred
