Job Description
1)Ensure mechanical standards / procedures / maintenance on the FPSO are
maintained in accordance with all relevant regulations and company
standards.
2)Perform maintenance on the cranes and rotating and static equipment on
the FPSO
3)Assist with the development of modification work scopes
4)Assist with cargo operations and watches
5)Assist in crane operations as required proper and safely
6)Assist in scaffold rigging
7)Perform Security and safety patrols onboard
8)Deck and Bridge watches when so assigned
9)Marine operations; e.g. Mooring operations, bunkering and provisions
10)Helicopter operations e.g. Helicopter landing Fire fighter, Helicopter
landing guard
11)Engine room maintenance when so assigned
12)Tank cleaning and sweeping of cargo tanks
13)Work such as entry into enclosed spaces, hot work, and work aloft shall
not be undertaken without a Work Permit is issued.
14)Participate and actively promote AFPO’s HSE&Q systems
Education
HSC with Crane Certification
Experience
1)3 years’ experience as Ordinary Seaman on oil tanker / FPSO
2)2 years’ experience as Able Bodied Seaman on oil tanker / FPSO
