1)Maintenance of the Cargo Pumps, cargo-valves and other cargo
installations.
2)Purging routines etc.
3)Maintenance of tank cleaning machines, valves and related equipment.
4)Maintenance of all cargo-related equipment in close co-operation with
Chief Officer and Chief Engineer.
5)Act as area authority, when required, as defined in the FPSO work permit,
ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with
the conditions detailed in the work permit
6)Maintain clear, concise logs of all relevant events and inhibit logs to ensure
that CCR, management and succeeding operators are fully aware of cargo
system status at shift handover and to assist problem root cause analysis
where appropriate
7)Relay accurate and concise information to the Marine SUPERINTENDENT
and/or OIM as individual situations dictate
8)Monitor and operate the offloading systems in close connection with CCR
9)Review and discuss all completed and on-going work permits during shift
handovers
Reporting failures, accidents, near accidents and non-conformities on cargo
related equipment to Marine SUPERINTENDENT and/or Technical
SUPERINTENDENT
Education
SSC or HSC with STCW certification
Experience
2 years’ experience as Pumpman on oil tanker
Position Goal 1. To ensure all work performed on the FPSO is within the Company’s Safety
Management System and procedures
2.To operate and monitor the FPSO systems safely, maximizing efficiency
within the guidelines set by the Marine SUPERINTENDENT and CCR
3.Effective control of FPSO cargo and marine systems in Emergency
situations
