Job Description 1)Maintenance of the Cargo Pumps, cargo-valves and other cargoinstallations.2)Purging routines etc.3)Maintenance of tank cleaning machines, valves and related equipment.4)Maintenance of all cargo-related equipment in close co-operation withChief Officer and Chief Engineer.5)Act as area authority, when required, as defined in the FPSO work permit,ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance withthe conditions detailed in the work permit6)Maintain clear, concise logs of all relevant events and inhibit logs to ensurethat CCR, management and succeeding operators are fully aware of cargosystem status at shift handover and to assist problem root cause analysiswhere appropriate7)Relay accurate and concise information to the Marine SUPERINTENDENTand/or OIM as individual situations dictate8)Monitor and operate the offloading systems in close connection with CCR9)Review and discuss all completed and on-going work permits during shifthandoversReporting failures, accidents, near accidents and non-conformities on cargorelated equipment to Marine SUPERINTENDENT and/or TechnicalSUPERINTENDENTEducation SSC or HSC with STCW certificationExperience 2 years’ experience as Pumpman on oil tankerPosition Goal 1.
