1)1 year as 2nd Engineer on turbine tankers, Platform, FPSO, tanker or
LPG-carrier experience
2)Good communicative skills, fluent English oral and written
3)Good abilities in collaboration/team-work
Position Goals 1) To ensure all work performed on the FPSO is both within the
Company’s Safety
4)Management System procedures and prevailing operation procedures
onboard.
5)To operate and monitor the Engine Control Room safely, maximising
efficiency within the guidelines set by the Chief Engineer.
6)Effective control of the FPSO systems in emergency situations.
7)To assist with mechanical engineering/maintenance/inspections and
modifications onboard the FPSO
Duties & Responsibilities
1)Watch keeping in Engine control Room including recording of Engine
log book.
2)Ensure to operate the engine room systems in accordance with all
relevant rules, regulations and company standards.
3)Act as area authority when required, as defined in the FPSO work
permit system, ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner and
in accordance with the conditions detailed in the work permit.
4)Execution of work orders from Maintenance Management System
5)Review and discuss all completed and ongoing work permits during
shift handovers.
