JOB SUMMARY : 1) Development in R&D and its subsequent establishment in Production 2) Support production by active involvement in Process control. 3) Establish use of New/Alternate materials for manufacturing 4) Carry out different trials on different processes and establishing its suitability for Production trial. Report analysis, documentation and define action plan for improvement 5) Project and People management 6) Market analysis and understand customer requirements
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION : M.Tech/ M.Sc/Btech (Physics/Chemistry/Materials science/metallurgy/applied electronics/ceramics/mechanical/electrical) with Experience in a Ceramic / Metallurgy/Magnet Industry or research institutes. Experince in soft and/or hard ferrite R&D.
TOTAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : Min. 2 year in a Magnet /Ceramic/metallurgy/similar industry for Mtech/MSc candidates. 3 years for Btech candicates.
NATURE OF EXPERIENCE : Development of New Material grades in lab level and subsequent establishment in Production. Cost reduction projects by altrnate raw materials/material sources. Handling of Quality improvement projects and customer complaints.
SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM : Interpretation and Analysis of data of production and lab to decide further action on improvement.
KNOWLEDGE : Knowledge in Magentic materials, ferrites, Ceramic Powder Processing & Sintering, , Quality system awareness, FMEA, IATF, PPAP, Computer Literacy, Materials related analytical techniques, IPR related awareness
