Job Description


  • Graduate in Science (Cosmetic/ Perfumery/ Fragrances) or Post Graduate/ PGD in Perfumery/ Fragrance/ Cosmetics
  • Atleast 7 Years of relevant experience in Fragrance or related industry
  • In-depth knowledge in one or more categories/market segments
  • In-depth consumer understanding
  • Excellent project management skills. High energy and ability to motivate others.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead teams without any reporting lines
  • Is innovative and results-oriented; effectively integrates knowledge, perspectives, and ideas to create new outcomes
  • Effectively manages conflict in decision-making
  • Able to work effectively with people from different race, gender, culture, age, or background

Job Responsibilities:

  • Address active brief by utilizing existing library samples or proactive samples
  • Explore new creative ideas for perfumery creations which leads to project solutions
  • Conduct evaluation of close matches of given brief if close match available
  • Co-ordinate with analytical and application for respective technical data and application reports
  • Co-ordinate with market research agencies for consumer research; Visit customers and understand their preferences and comments about our products
  • Understand potential of product by comparative study of Internal panel comments and consumer feedback
  • Select sample products (established brands) with the help of Consumer research and market data from system like EURO Monitor; Evaluate samples by smelling (Olfactive and aesthatic) and actual use
  • Conduct market mapping of samples; Create database w.r.t. profile, claim, pricing and trend of established brands in market
  • Study and understand market trends; Study reports and interact with perfumers for various details; Co-ordinate with application and technical to conduct applications of provided sample
  • Receive and study reports; Create new ideas and concepts; Provide inputs for new creation and concepts to perfumer
  • Attend exhibitions, seminars; Present stall and display products in exhibitions; Provide inputs to prepare plan of presentation in exhibition
  • Select samples to present; Act as a key member of evaluation team; Interact with customers and understand customer needs; Provide across table solutions
